6 months... That is bad!! Although June is only 4 months away now. They fixed my rusty rear arches by hopefully removing all the rust and then squeezing what looks like a long strip of toothpaste all round the underside of the arch and then spraying over the top. I have to say the Mazda garage I went to did a good job. I just hope the front ones dont start rusting now.

One of the reasons for the delay say the garage was down to Mazda themselves. The garage have repaired several cars but unfortunately the rust was reappearing and they were told by Mazda to stop any anti corrosion warranty work until they worked out what to do next. So hence the back log.

The garage reckon Mazda now insist in actually changing the body panels rather than attempt to remove the rust.
