Hi there, I'm new to this site...I'm currently running a Furano (2 litre petrol)and it's really heavy on the fuel. I'm getting less than 34 MPG and fuelling
every 3-4 days. I'm looking at the 6 TS2 or Sport-Diesel: Can anyone tell me if the 6 Sport/TS2 diesels are economical to run. Thanks |

Yikes, way out of my element. We don't get those engines where I am. Hopefully somebody from across the pond will post up.
The 2L should be pretty good on fuel though, have you had it checked out? replaced the air filter?

It no doubt would be better, maybe in the range of 42mpg ( or so I've heard ) but the costs involved in switching cars would probably be what you wind up saving in gas
