Default Any way to make the Mazda6 as fast as a Mazdaspeed?

It's always bothered me that I didn't go with the Mazdaspeed version, the AWD I don't care about that much, but the extra power I miss.

Since my car is fairly new, it wouldn't make financial sense to trade it in on a Mazdaspeed, so I was thinking that if I could get away with a couple grand in mods to get me some extra power, I would enjoy the car a little more.

What do you think?

For a couple grand, probably not, for about 5 you could put a supercharger on it, that would do it. Other things like I/T/B , exhasust, etc wouldn't get you enough power, and for the money spent, unless you love monkeying around, you're probably be better off to wait.

Ya, I'm with Johnny on this one, for a couple grand I don't think you could make a reg. Mazda6 into a Speed6.

The other problem is just how much power do you want to run through the front wheels.. I'd say it's close to it's limit as it is.

I know how. Trade your 6 in for a MS6 and just re-badge it to say Mazda 6

hehe that would work

Personally, I would save your money, wait for the redesign ( which hopefully includes a MazdaSpeed version ) and pick one of those up.

Otherwise, you'll be saying..."It always bothered me that I didn't wait for the new model"
