Default Hi, first post here.

Hi guys, I've been lurking for a while, enjoying your posts, but now I have a question.

I've had to take my car in for an alignment 3 times because it keeps going out of whack, and I'm burning through my tires like crazy.

Any idea why it won't stay where they set it? and can something be done to fix it for good?

Thanks

Has your car ever been in an accident? if the frame isn't straight it can be real tough to keep an good alignment.

Welcome!

Could be some worn out hubs as well, maybe too much play?

You take it to the same place? not all alignment shops are good. Find a good one in your area and let them have a crack at it.

I've had more bad alignments then I can count!

Welcome to the forum.

You could also check to see if the A arms are bent as wel, that could throw it off.

Yep, use the right machine and get someone that knows what they are doing. Unless the frame is bent, or there is damage there is no reason that the car shouldn't keep an alignment

Thanks guys..I have taken it to the dealer each time...you'd figure that they were able to do it right, but that might be giving them too much credit

I talked to a friend of my Dad's who recommended a place, so I'm going to give that a shot.

Appreciate the replys

Just thought I would follow up on this. I took my car to a differant place and had it done. it's like night and day, and so far it's holding tight.

They weren't able to see if they was anything done wrong, but they did tell me that my alighnment was way wayyyy out of whack.

Hopefully this is the last time. Thanks for the suggestions
