I had this TSB taken care of, not sure if it is related, since my AC was fine. But it might help as well

I don't have a scanner, but I got a copy of the letter that was supposedly sent out to owners.. here's what it said.
"On certain Mazda6 vehicles it is possible a crack may occur in the soldered part of the intergrated circuit teminal in the fan control module causing poor continuity. Under this condition the cooling fan may stop operating causing the coolant temperature to rise or a fan noise from the module" This campaign number is; "SSP-71, Mazda 6 Fan Control Module" and covers 2003-2006 Mazda6 cars, the letter is dated April, 2007. This is in addition to the previous campaign SSP-60 for the 2003-2004 cars. "Mazda will replace the Fan Control Module with an improved one free of charge." The repair by their estimate "should take approximately 10 minutes to complete", |
