I'm trying to understand mazda better - i'm looking for a commuter car
that I can also take on driving vacations with a small number of people. Would the m3 or the m6 be right for me? I want something that'll make me look good. I'm also thinking about the impreza but I've heard it's not that well made. What do you think? http://vlane.com/comparison/2387 |

I bought slightly used - less than 20k miles - and found I could buy a Mazda6 for less than a Mazda3. There was a better supply of 6. They both have the 2.3 engine. I got a 5-speed and am getting 25-28 mpg around town and up to 36mpg on the road. I find the 6 more comfortable. I like the functionality of the 3 5-door, but given the prices, the 6 was the better deal.
