Question Litres to Gallons

How can I change the Fuel Economy display from litres/100km to miles per gallon (UK spec car) ?

Yeah I want to know that too... litres/100 miles means nothing to me. I want to see it in MPG.

Rumour has it a dealer can change it over, or if you have a programmer. But it doesn't seem to be user changeable

Hi All

I asked the Dealer about this, the Sales man said "it cant be changed" and the service manager said "just bring it in on saturday and we will hook it up to the computer and change it for you"
I will book it in and see if they can do it, I will let you all know

Andy,

How old is your Mazda 6 ? - mine is 2 weeks old.

I wonder if this is a common problem with UK spec cars being set for the Eoro market.

Mine is a 57 plate, I have only had it a couple of weeks, but it was a Demo car before, i think it was first registered back in August

Pretty sure it cant be done on the car A bit of maths is needed, this is how I worked it out:
Litres/100miles -> mpg

Theres 0.22litres to a gallon

So if your Average consumption is 13.1L/100m

13.1x0.22=2.882

then 100 divided by 2.882= 34.69 mpg

Convert from litres used into gallons first

then divide by 100 miles.
