Hello everyone,
I'm novo from South wales in the UK, bought a 2003 Mazda 6 estate/wagon about a year ago now and absolutely love it. ![]() There are a few things which I need to sort out with the car including getting the alloys done coz they are starting to corrode/peel if you know what I mean, common fault I think on the older 6's. ![]() The biggest problem is the Sat Nav, it works fine but if I dont use the car for 2 or 3 days (coz I cycle 2 to 3 days a week) then the battery is dead (yes, its a new battery). Spoke to my nearest dealer and they said they had a similar problem a while back with a customers car and it turned out to be the Sat Nav draining the battery. Does anyone know of a way to dissable the Sat Nav, perhaps removal of a fuse or something. Tried to locate the fuse but to no avail, any help would be appreciated. ![]() |

"I seem to recall a TSB about the nav draining the battery. I'm surprised that the dealer didn't have more information."__________________________________________________ _______________ When I spoke to them they said that the sat nav was replaced under warrenty because the car was only 6 months old, at the moment though I have disconnected the plug to the back of the disc drive so its not working, haven't used it for a while anyway. Thanks. Haven't seen any posts about rims, could you put a link up, Johnny Drama. Cheers. |

Not specific to the 6, but the same problem, and various stories about it
P5 Wheel corrosion Mazda has been really good in replacing rims, they know they have a problem, so it doesn't take much convincing Good luck!
