Default Possible electric windows fault

Hi,

I have a mazda6 TS (147) diesel (reg feb 07). I got up this morning to find all of its windows open. I know I shut them last night. Has anyone else experienced this problem and its it a known fault?

Any advice appreciated as im now worried about the security of the vehicle

when you hold down the unlock for a few seconds all the windows open

same as they all close when youy hold lock

i must have had the key against something in my pocket last night. The distance from my living room to car isnt that far

Yep, I've done it a couple times myself

If you're having a problem with the way the windows work, it may need to be reset. Look here for that fix. Mazda6 How-To: Resetting Power Windows

You are all lucky that your windows go back up when you hold down 'the 'lock' button. I can only put mine down with the they key fob

RJB, I'm pretty sure that's just a programming issue. The dealers computer should be able to reprogram it.

Ah, I will have to ask my dealer about that. I haven't been to them in months and I am loving not having to deal with them.
