Just wondering what the majority went with on the 6? Auto or Manual
I see it as the manual owners wanted a fun sporty car, the Auto guys wanted a sedan and nothing more. So what did you get?

Manual,
Though this trend towards autos, and SMG, DSG, etc is starting to bug me. I know that they have a lot of advantages, but I like to think I'm a purist, my left leg should be used for clutching. The snick of the gearshift hitting each gate. It feels like they're dumbing it down for the masses. |

Ya, same here, Auto in traffic is the best, yet I own many cars, and not one of them is an Auto.
I'd much rather shift myself 99% of the time. I get what you're saying about the Cluctchless trans... I'm kinda split. I've driven my friends M3 with SMG, and it's pretty awesome. If I had to choose, I would really realllly have to think about it. |
