What's holding you back?
Went with the 6, but know a few guys with MS3's and they all love em. It really is one the best bangs for the buck. No idea what a Leon Cupra is, but Mazda while not always the most reliable of brands in the past has REALLY stepped it up in the last while. The new models have had lots of R&D and have proven to be pretty solid. It's not the perfect car for everyone ofcourse, but it really depends on what you want to get out of it. I'll let the actual MS3 guys expand on it more. |

hi mindcore
thanks for the reply ,ref my cupra :its the supposed flag ship car in the l seat eon range sitting @ 240 bhp, hense why im looking at the mazda 3 mps as a comparitive with performance in mind. the car i test drove was from milscars @ st albans in hertfordshire, spec wise the cars up there with em ,just dont want another very very poor buying experience with the dealer & the manufacturer, hence the posting asking for as much advice as i can possibly gather before making the final call !!!!!!!! lsw |

Ya, I get ya. I doubt they differ over seas then here, and I can say that Mazda has come along way in quality since I owned my Millenia.
As with all cars, there are a couple little issues, but nothing that can't be taken care of by a competent dealer. At least for a new car, one of the most imporatant aspects, IMO, is finding a dealer you are comfortable with. Before buying ask for a tour of the Service area and an introduction to the service Manager, once you buy your car, you'll never see the sales guy again, but you'll see the service manager a whole lot more often. If your concern is reliability, I would honestly say don't give it a second thought. |
