Default Programming additional remotes.

For those with more then a couple drivers.

Have the remotes that you are going to program with you when you are ready, as programming as all of them have to be reprogrammed into memory at the same time

1: Open driver side door and leave it open.

2: Lock and Unlock the drivers door using the power door lock switch on the door

3: Insert key into the ignition.

4: Turn key to ON position and return to Lock (off) position. Do this 3 times within 10 seconds. leave the key in the ignition in Lock (off) position.

5: Close and open the drivers door 3 times. Leave door open afterwards

6: The ECU should respond by locking and unlocking the doors once.

7: Press any button on the first remote twice. ECU responds by locking and unlocking the car doors.

8: For additional remotes, repeat Step 7 up tp 3 times for 3 remotes.

9: Remove the key from the ignition and the ECU will respond a final time with a series (about 3 or 4) of door locks and unlocks.

Lenny, I've been trying to do this and it doesn't seem to be working.

I bought one from ebay, and the codes on the back don't match, should that make a difference?

thx
