Default mazda3

hello mazda3 owners, 1st time here, has anyone had there car broken into lately? i'm living on the west coast and i'm seeing alot of the same damage that the crooks are doing. they are hitting the driver side of your car just above your door handle that disables your security system and allows them to enter your car and take whatever is inside, i have had my car updated, and now is all good but i still have to pay for the damage that they have done, you will not be notifed by mazda, they don't want to do a recall, the fix is free for now, so go get the fix or loose all your stuff...,mine is a 2004 mazda3 gt,

Hey Phoof, I've heard of this happening alot.. the stupid thing is now that people know about it, even if you get it fixed, you still have to worry about someone denting your door anyway.

At least your stuff is safe, but it sucks having to have it fixed.

Shame on Mazda for not being more proactive on this issue.

Sorry to hear that it happend to you

Sorry to hear man, I've been hearing alot about this too. Sadly, people probably figured this out through forums, and at least the good thing is, eventually all these scumbags will realize everyones car has been fixed and there will be no point in trying anymore.

This is the first I'm hearing of this. I guess I should take my car in to the dealer. I basically live out of my car, so if I got ripped off I'd be in a world of hurt

Is it me or is this problem dieing down? I haven't heard much about it recently.

I guess Mazda is fixing these things before they get out to people?

Wow this is news to me.. I'm calling my dealer tomorrow. Why in the world would Mazda make a car with such a big flaw?
