Hi all, I'm a proud owner of 08 Mazda 3 sport GT 5 door. My wife and I took one out for the test drive back in December and decided this was the car. With it's good looks and a track record of being one the best cars in it's class. Now here's the problem, we live in Canada and the roads are often sanded after a snow fall. When driving, the sand is picked up by the tires and makes an incredible noise inside the car. My Dodge 4x4 is quiet like a Cadillac compared to the Mazda. Should I spray some undercoating I can buy in a can.
Thanks Darrell |

Welcome to the forum
I know exactly what you're talking about.. I don't trust that stuff in a can though, if you really want to quiet the car up, look into something called Dynomat. It will take you a full Saturday, but remove your seats, and carpet, lay the dynamat down and reinstall and it will quiet your car down like you wouldn't believe. I..just turn the radio up louder ![]() |
