Default spark plug issue!!! Help

I notice that my car is hesitrating taking off in 1st gear(like lack of fuel) then it gets going fine. My question is could the plugs be fouled up? could it be the fuel filter? please advise what I can do to get going again. Thanks

What year is your car? how many miles?

Could very well be the spark plugs, could also be the fuel filter, could be a MAP sensor, could be...

Is it intermittent, or does it happen all the time every time?

The Rx8 can foul plugs fairly quickly, it would be the first thing I'd look at

plugs could be the problem, so could coils. sounds more like coils to me. The fuel filter would be more of a problem once you are already moving, and the car experiences fuel starvation, but not at 58K miles.

have a quick check on youre spark plug leads to make sure there is no damage when replacing the spark plugs.make sure there is no discolouration on them eg brown, black.you could also get the engine timing checked over to make sure it isnt out.
