The AutoEXE type 1 nose looked better IMO, it flowed a little better with the lines of the car. AutoEXE also has a nice CF front splitter that will fit on the stock nose, and really make it look nice, and for a lot less than the nose, plus fitment, and then paint.

I have wanted the whole SE-02 kit for a long time, it just does not make sense for me. So the front splitter might end up on my car at some point.

For those that have not seen it...

Does it actually provide any downforce?

Dunno, but I bet if it is installed right, and tight, with no real air gaps, it might help a little. I just think it looks pretty bad ass, and it goes on the stock nose. I for one, really like the stock nose, and not many of the aftermarket noses look as good as the stock one IMO.

I would think you'd have to be going pretty fast to get any apreciable downforce from it, but who cares... look at that thing!

62,000 yen, which by my math equals about $515, but then you have to count import taxes, shipping and all kinds of other fees, I think someone got one into the states for about $750.

well, the whole nose is more than that, and then you have to get it fit to the car, it might require some extra work, but not always, and then you have to have it painted, which can run anywhere from $100-$300 or more depending on teh quality of work, and how good they match the paint.

hmm that does add up doesn't. But I have to say that looks pretty damn cool.

There seems to be a lack of good options for the 8, how many have they sold? i see lots of them on the street, it can't be that small a market
