Sub-titles appeared to be in German. Please tell me that's a tunnel on the autobahn. In any event, he risked the lives of his passenger and everyone in that tunnel to make that vid. I've been to accident scenes involving similar speeds and would happily pummel him into ass mulch if given the chance. Take it to a track.

It's all cool, until someone decides to poke thier nose out, and then there's a horific crash.
I love to drive fast, but bone head moves like this drive me crazy. Mostly because I have to sit in traffic for hours because some jackass ahead of me like this guy crashed. |

It was a pretty cool video, considering nothing happened. I mean it sounds amazing, and I would love to fly through a tunnel like that. With out any other cars of course, but I agree with all of you as well that that was pretty dumb

Actually no. Just because I've got a gun and I'm a really good shot you won't see me doing target practice in the city park either. Even if I knew I'd get away with it. I would have realized the risk, not just to me, but others too.

Exactly, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. That's the whole point of accidents, it's not like you meant to crash, kill innocent people, etc. But drive like a dumbass and it will eventually catch up with you.

I must have wandered into the geriatric section of the forum.
Why do you guys even drive high performance sports cars if you're going to pick up milk at the local store pegged at the speed limit. These cars are designed to drive this fast, they handle, accelerate and brake better them most cars on the road. I guess you guys cross post on the Camry forum too? |

Read my post above, I don't care if you want to act like your the next Schumacher, but I have to pay because you were being an asshat.
You want to drive balls out, take it to the track, I expect you'll see real quick just how much you suck as a driver. |

First, the car is more fun to drive at 25 than most at 85. Second, it has nothing to do with the car...and EVERYTHING to do with the driver and other cars. It's a frickin' public street cupcake. You can be driving an ENZO and it wouldn't have done any good if just one of those other cars had decided they wanted to change lanes. And they're not prepared for some little adolescent punk who thinks he's talented JUST because his car is capable of going well into 3 digit speeds. Geriatric hell, grow up. My analogy still stands. I've got some very accurate guns, but I don't target practice in the park. When your done being a street poser (hopefully soon) trying to impress high school girls and beating up on the neighborhood Honda drivers, take it to the track or autoX.

Theres a very simple, yet truthfull statement about this...
"Real racers do it on the strip". Theres a time and place for that sorta shennanigans, pubic freeways aint the place and there aint no excuse. |

Ya know, when I first voiced my opinion on this, I figured I'd be in the minority....as is usually the casen other forums. I'm almost used to getting flamed to beegeezus. I gotta say I've been really surprised, in a good way.
I have to laugh at some of the kids on a local forum in my area who constantly post up their street racing adventures, drag races and even the occasional wreck as a result. And then the same sack-head pisses and moans about the unfair ticket he got from the cops.

I was thinking the same thing, I'm on enough forums where everyone thinks being wreckless is cool. There seems to be a level of maturity here that is lacking in other forums.
I don't mind the differing opinions, I just don't like being called out because I care if I make it home in one piece, you know what I mean? |
