Default Hey y'all

Hi there folks, found this site just by accident today.
Im Redman, live in Central Victoria, Australia and the very proud owner of an 83 s2 RX7. Bought it as a writeoff about 4 years ago, gave it a hit with a hammer here, sprayed some paint there, and threw a few personal touches at it. Its a 12a, 5spd, got Pedders suspension, Whiteline swaybar up front, strut brace in the engine bay, custom surge tank and pump, a few nolathane bushes in the right places, race seat, Autotechnica s/wheel, and a self installed stereo, jvc h/unit, Il Pro sonic 6.5" splits, Spl 2 x 6.5" boxed subs, and a Precision 300w amp all mounted on a custom false floor. Paint is factory, but have had a lavender pearl sprayed over it to give a beautiful appearance.
Have had it on the road now for a year, and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of driving it. Sorry bout the pik size!100_2673.jpg

Welcome Red! Really nice car and I like that color too...but shouldn't you be known as "The Blue One"?
Those are some very fun cars, I know I loved my FB!

Think they weigh about 13kg with tyres. Will have tyres off soon so will weigh one up. Be interesting to know net weight.

Hi there peeps! How the winter treatin ya over there?
Its still "trying" to warm up for summer here. Gunna be a stinker this year.

Finally got rims and tread onto the RX, look a treat! Handle sooooo much better than the 13's, but thats to be expected. Had a clean up of the engine bay, threw a heap of ribbed conduit over everything I could, re-routed some wiring, and a dab of paint here and there...much betterer! Will get some pix of that soon. Oh, heres a couple of pix from a recent state versus state motorkhana....Cheers.
