Can anyone shed some light on the subject? Looking for a little better acceleration, but I don't want to be redlineing on the freeway.
Worthwhile mod, or should I just add more power? ) |

S2000 guys do it all the time, great way to counteract the low torque, but it's not usually a perfect setup.. you give up something to gain something. I wouldn't go too agressive if you decide to make the change.
I'm sure someone will have better insight |

Well, I think it'd be a bad idea... the 7 revs up to redline SOOO much faster than my MX-5... I'm kind of wondering if maybe a longer gearing, and more power might not be the ticket, when it comes to 7's... at least for racing that involves turning
(esp. now that we got the 5+6 ports working...) |
