Mazdaspeed Protege Issue: Rear Bumper Skirt Falling Off. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What: You're about to get in and be moved when, as you walk around the car, you notice that the rear bumper cover lip is seperating from the bumper above the exhaust. Why: Due to the heat of the exhaust that's exiting right below the lip, the double sided tape that holds the lip on begins to fail. The lip begins to fall off due to it only being held on with tape and no screws. How To Fix: Return to the dealership and talk to them. Most, if not all, reported occasions of this problem have been fixed. TSB/M-Tip: Not available. |
