Mazdaspeed Protege Issue: Tire Performance In Wet/Cold Conditions. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What: You have no grip in the snow/rain with the stock tires. Why: The tires that came on the MSP are "high performance" and are NOT meant, nor should they be, to be used in cold/snow climates. An accident is almost guaranteed for those who use they stock tires in the snow. How To Fix: It would be HIGHLY advised to get snow tires with steel wheels for the winter. Find those at a local tire place. TSB: Not available. |
