Mazdaspeed Protege Issue: Extremely Sensitive ABS. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What: When going over slight hills or even straight while braking, the pedal freaks out and the car feels as though it slides before stopping. Why: That's the nature of the beast. Some people say the ABS system on our cars is too sensitive. However, most would rather it be too sensitive than too lax. How To Fix: If it's entirely too sensitive for you, you can try going to the dealership. It's unknown what they will do. Some members have disabled ABS entirely, however, this is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. TSB: Not available. |
