What are your top 5 favorite cars of all time?

W have all these threads with cool cars, exotics, and untouchables. Some of them have reminded us of childhood fantasies about cars. And it made me think about it. What are your top 5 favorite cars of all time. What are they? Post em up, ranked 1-5, pictures if you can link them, gives us visual folks something to do.

#5-Ferrari Daytona Spyder, because every garage needs a nice droptop


#4-Nissan Skyline GTR Nismo Z-Tune, gotta love boosted AWD JDM


#3-1955 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing-just one of the most gorgeous cars ever designed.


#2-Late 1980's Ferrari Testarossa. I fell in lvoe with these as a kid.


#1-Anything 911. My favorite cars of all time, I love the lines, the power, all of them, form the old ones, to the new ones, but especially the ones that are wicked fast and over the top.

5) 300 SL Gullwing I agree with you, one of the most beautiful cars ever made.


4) Detomaso Pantera - I love the italian styling, and it's brute force.


3) Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 - I still dream about owning one of these


2) Mercedes CLK GTR - They had to make some, just so the could race them. It's a race car with airbags!

if it were more than 5, it would be too easy to name a lot of cars, but at 5, you really have to pick the ones you love, and really wish you could own.

5. RX7 Seriously, I have always wanted to own one, and now that I do, it hasn't dissapointed


4. Jaguar XK-120 It's like they wrapped a beautiful women in sheet metal


3. Ferrari Enzo, IMO the best supercar there is.


2. Ferrari Boxer, the first Ferrari I ever saw in real life, I remeber being in the back seat of my dads car and seeing this go by, I was in love ever since.


1. McLaren F1, My all time favourite car. If I could only own one car for the rest of my life, this would be it.

5) Jaguar XK220 - Gorgeous body and ahead of it's time


4) Ferrari F40 - Race car for the street.. I saw this in highschool and started drooling


3) BMW M1 - Should be behind the F40, but there are a couple always at Mosport and the noise they make makes me piss myself. If I find one for sale, I'm buying it!


2) Porsche Carrera GT - Speaks for itself pretty much


1) Koenigsegg CCX - Of all the cars I've ever seen, I have never wanted one more then I want this.



OK, I get one more... the Turbo Interceptor. Gay as it may be, when I saw this car in the movie I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was 12 so that's my excuse.

5) Corvette Z06 - I keep eying these on the street and figure I should just get one and be done with it. For the money, it can not be beat.


4) 911 Turbo - Always was, Always will be an awesome car.


3) Lamborghini Murcielago - Soo mean looking and a beast


2) Ferrari 333SP - Watching the Ferrari Episode of Victory by Design, seeing this car rip thru the streets lasted with me ever since. I know I can't drive it on the street, but I'd ride a bike if I had to


1) Ferrari Enzo - The best F car ever made!

OK #5 Lotus Esprit I've always loved the shape of these, and with the V8 it was a solid performer


#4 TVR Sagaris Hurry up and bring TVR over here dammit..no one can match TVR Style


#3 Aston Martin Vanquish Besides a cool name, the only thing that comes close to TVR style


#2 Lamborghini Countach Say what you want, but this is what dreams are made of, not much looks cooler


#1 Shelby GT500 Not the obvious choice, but I have some muscle car blood in me, so this would be the one car I would want above any other.

#1 Mazda RX-3 - my dad raced these in improved touring... and theres no denying the hotness of a roatary sedan.

And #5... completely unlike most of my tastes, but it just holds a special place for me that even I haven't ever understood... 1932 Ford Coupe

1) Ariel Atom, I'll explain this one, as awesome as the other cars are, I doubt any of them match the pure driving pleasure as the Atom. If I could drive anything it would be this!
