Mannn I just can't decide.. The Egg, or this. Both are so freakin wicked!
Zonda still has the fastest time around the track with Top Gear... and there are some serious cars listed underneath it

they look drop dead gorgeous from the front, but the rear end is not all that good to look at. but I guess the lucky SOB driving it couldn't care less about what the rear end looks like. I would rather have a few other cars that I can think of.

I'm the opposite, I love the back end, and the front end not so much. Considering what it's capable of though, I don't really think it matters what it looks like. That's just an added benifit that it looks cool

never heard it put that way, but I like it, and it fits.
I don't know if I could handle the attention a car like that brings. When I first got my 8, they had not been out 6 months, so they were still very new, and people were always staring, and I kept thinking, WTF are you staring at. And that was for a Mazda, I can't imagine what it would be like for a Pagani Zonda. I mean, how many people actually get to see one in real life. And I wonder if it is a bit disappointing. I remember the first time I saw the McLaren SLR in person, it ruined it, b/c IMO, in person, it is ugly as sin. |

I had a similar revelation first time I got to ride in a Countach. My all time fav car as a kid. It felt like a piece of junk, and the interior was worse then a Feiro. Still looked crazy on the outside, but the dream of owning one quickly faded.. Funny enough there was a Top Gear episode that was almost identical to my experience.. but it was funnier.

yep, youtube rocks. and anything coming from Jeremy Clarkson or his crew is funnier than from anyone else.

LOL I saw that episode on Sat a year or so ago. I guess I'm not the only one that was crushed watching it.
Countach was my dream car too, I had the posters on the wall.. Wathced this as was kind of let down. I realize it's old, but just like the hot chicks of your memories, they get old, but your memories don't. Sometimes it's better not to know. |

ehe... this thread makes me feel kinda geeky... i always liked the supercars... but I was always more crazy about the MX-5 than the ferarris, lambo's, porsches, etc...
But I guess I benefited from that... when I finally was able to buy my own 'dream car'... it turned out better than I expected ![]()

But isn't the fun of a dream car the dreaming part? I think I lust for these cars because I can't have them. I bet, as great as a Zonda is, something about it would bug the piss out of me and it would become just another car.
