I have had my ass handed to me by a Spec Miata...that was humiliating. I know I am not the next Ayrton Senna, hell, I am not all that fast really, I just go out and have fun. But when you are used to getting the point by from a Gti, to have to give one, it is a little rough at first. But I am comfortable knowing that it is ok, I have done the same to other drivers...that red M3 . So, it is all good.

Never underestimate a spec miata. Those things can really hustle themselves around a track. I've sadly been spanked my many

Default Track Videos from Barber Motorsports Park

Our crew of track junkies went out again this past weekend, to Barber Motorsports Park, IMO, the nicest track in the southeast. I love it there, lots of corners, lots of elevations changes, and a it is a very technical track, where it requires more than good straight line speed to get around it fast.

This is Saturday Session 3, not the fastest video, but when watched first, and then watching the others, there is a big difference.

Saturday Session 3

in this one, my good buddy Phlash rides shotgun, he had not ridden with me since DE2 at CMP last year. A lot has changed, and I think he had fun.

I have two more session to pull from the camera. I will try to get to them tonight.

Enjoy.

My TGPR Spin

This was shot at a recent small track day, that we had rain all day, fought off tornado warnings and the squalls of Hurricane Fay. There is some slipping, sliding around, and at the end, a nice lazy, almost full spin and then some off-roading. Enjoy.
