Default Fitting new door speakers

Hi,

I've got a new pair of door speakers to fit to a MK2 (1998). Any tips on removing door panels as I've not got a manual.

On that subject is there any MK2 manuals out there, I can't find any listed anywhere.

Thanks for any help

Check out Raj post in Power Window Slow/Interittent Response in this forum. He has a link that slows takeing a door panel off. Might be of some help for you.

the door panels are pretty much identical in NA's and NB's.... 3 screws, (ones hidden beneath the felt in the "tray" of the armwrest/handle) 4 push rivets, and just gotta pop the panel off, be careful, the speaker wires for the tweeter is short.
