Hi, I am Judi, and totally new here. I recently purchased a 2000 mpv, and it had no owners manual. Could someone tell me what the button is at the end of the automatic shifting knob? I press it and no idiot lights come on the dash, so I have no clue what it is for. Thanx in advance for any help.

Hi Judi,

The button on the end of the shift knob is your overdrive button. I "think" it was a 4 speed automatic. So when you put it in drive, you go thru the first 3 gears, if the button is depressed it will to fourth gear. Leave it on overdrive, and forget about it.
